Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award; Nia Long with the Dream of Los Angeles Award; Vanessa Bell Calloway with the Spirit of Los Angeles Award. John Legend with the Hope of Los Angeles Award. Judge Mablean Ephriam, Dr. George KcKenna III, and former Los Angeles Councilmember Rita Walters and Dr. Edward Savage, Jr. received Hall of Fame Awards for law, education, government and Health.
