Kevin Spacey Fowler is an American actor. Known for his work on stage and screen, he has received numerous accolades, including two Academy Awards, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Tony Award, and two Laurence Olivier Awards. Spacey was named an honorary Commander and Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2010 and 2015, respectively. Spacey had small roles in Mike Nichols' comedy-drama films Heartburn and Working Girl. He won two Academy Awards: Best Supporting Actor for playing a con man in The Usual Suspects and Best Actor for playing a suburban husband and father going through a midlife crisis in American Beauty. His other films include Glengarry Glen Ross, Se7en, L.A. Confidential, Pay It Forward, Superman Returns, 21, Margin Call, and Baby Driver. He has also directed the films Albino Alligator and Beyond the Sea. In Broadway theatre, Spacey starred in a revival of Eugene O'Neill's Long Day's Journey into Night in 1986.
