I debated whether or not to take the trip to Brownsville today since I didn't think there would be any photo opportunities because of the terrible weather conditions, but then I decided that watching the waterfowl there is worth it even if I come home empty-handed. For your information, the air temperature here is 35F/1C with low dark clouds and light snow as northwest winds gusted to 50 mph. Living on the arctic tundra, these tundra swans have learned to be tough.
