W.O.C. Radio Station was located atop the administration building. In 1932 the station hired a young announcer to broadcast University of Iowa football games. This young announcer was named Ronald Regan, yes that one. His first game to announce was the University of Iowa's homecoming game against the University of Minnesota for $5 and bus fare to the game. The things you can learn on the internet!!!
