In Rick Steves' recent guidebook to Normandy, he has this to say in the section on 'Where to Stay in Bayeux': "Chambres de hotes near the Cathedral: Le Petit Matin, run by friendly Pascal, is a central and handsome bed and breakfast with good public spaces, five stylish rooms with big bathrooms and a 'magnifique' back garden (with play toys) on the Place Charles de Gaulle..." We stayed in "Rose Bonbon" and can echo everything Rick says. A great value for money within an easy walk to the museums, a superb breakfast, and plenty of safe parking on the beautiful tree filled square.
